Forum Romanum

The Forum Romanum is one of the sites that I am most excited to see. The Forum Romanum is a part of Rome that holds many of the ancient ruins of the old empire. In this one place contains many different temples, arches, and other buildings that were used by the ancient Roman Empire.
This is just one view of what we will be seeing while taking the tour.

This will be a great opportunity to gain a view into the ancient wold and the world of ancient Rome.
Some of the greater sites that are located here are The Curia, which was the place that the Roman Senate met and discussed the issues of the day. Also, there is the Rostrum which is located right outside the Curia and this is the platform that the Roman leaders addressed the people of Rome. We will be able to visit the site that Julius Cesar and other Roman greats addressed the people and made their famous speeches. We will also see the Temple of Venus which is a very important part of Roman history because Venus was believed to be an ancestor of the founders of Rome itself.

Here are some links for more information.
I cannot wait to go here and visit these sites.
