Places to go in Paris

Since I’m sure all of us have different interests, I found a website that lists “the favorites” of many different things, ranging from favorite markets to favorite vegetarian restaurant to favorite cookware stores. Each place listed has the name, address and a brief description.

Another website I found helpful was one that listed five free things to do in Paris. The list includes visiting a Parisian at work; including fashion designers, furriers, chocolatiers, bakers, furniture makers, cheese makers and other craftsman. This site includes a schedule for the open houses at “Meet the Parisian at Work”. The next favorite, free activity is taking a walking tour- which we are already taking a tour in Paris, so we’re already seeing many things this site lists. Third is learn to Tango by the Seince, taking place every evening from May to September at 7 p.m. The last two things on this list are attend an Organ Concert or a Fashion Show. The organ concerts take place at The Saint Eustache Church at 5:30 every Sunday, which sadly we will not be there for. Also, the fashion show showcases The Galeries Lafayette department stores trends in a 30 minute long show on Friday’s at 3. Since we’re already spending money getting to Paris it’s nice to have a list of several free, fun options!

(In addition, this site goes on and lists four things to do for under 25 Euros)
